Local Public Relations Internships

  • A-C-T Environmental: A·C·T Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking an outgoing and motivated candidate for its Bartow, Florida office. Ideal candidates (Junior or Senior level PR/communications majors preferred): creative, organized, basic understanding of public relations, strong communication and writing skills, understanding of social media distribution channels and platforms & PowerPoint skills. The internship is very hands-on and intern(s) will be responsible for components of any/all of the following: conducting research, projects related to new business development, writing – press releases; content for marketing/P.R. materials, social media, etc., media relations and news monitoring, designing various marketing communications (marcom) materials/publications (brochures, ads,fliers, etc), special event support, administration and general office support.   1. This is definitely some great information for anyone who wants some experience in the Journalism/PR world. I actually have an interview for one of them on Monday so I’m pretty excited, but thanks for sharing the info 🙂

  2. Thanks for all the posts (and emails) about PR internships. I had an interview also for one of the internships and I wouldn’t have known about it if it wasn’t for the FPRA emails sent out! Keep up the great work 🙂
