Our SEU FPRA meeting will mostly likely be on Thursday, March 24. Everyone will be notified when a date and time is set.

Our SEU FPRA is hosting an event April 5, 6, & 7. One night will focus on networking, another night will focus on image development, and the other night will focus on social media. Some of the speakers will include public relations professionals from the community. Each night will start at 7 p.m. and the event will take place in A115 of the Academic Building. Refreshments will be served. There is no cost to attend this event.

The next local Dick Pope/Polk County FPRA meeting will be Wednesday, March 16th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m at Polk County Tourism & Sports Marketing & Central Florida Development Council Headquarters 2701 Lake Myrtle Park Rd. Auburndale, Florida 33823. W. Timothy Coombs, PhD. Of University of Central Florida’s Nicholson School of Communication will be speaking on “Social Media and Crisis Communication.”Students who have paid their membership at the Florida Public Relations Association website will only have to pay $10 for lunch.
