The FPRA Student Chapter is just one of the many clubs at Southeastern University. Listed below is some information about FPRA found on the club’s Facebook page (search for “Southeastern University FPRA Student Chapter on Facebook):
“Public relations students know that gaining professional experience while in school is the key to the start of a successful career. That’s why many Florida students choose to join FPRA. Students receive FPRA publications, access to statewide job bank listings, meet local PR professionals (future references and job opportunities), and attend a FPRA member events at a discounted student rate.”
A year membership costs $25 and can be purchased on the Florida Public Relations Association website.
Meetings are held monthly and feature guest speakers who are public relations professionals. Past speakers include Christina Wellman of GenX Media Group, LLC and Lorrie Walker of Lorrie Walker Communications, Inc.
Students are also able to attend the local Dick Pope/Polk County FPRA Meetings.

this is definitely good information for people that are interested in Public relations. The FPRA is a great way to meet PR Professionals and learn about the many different careers there are in the Public Relations field. Also Networking is a great way to land an internship or even a job!
